Kanosuke Distillery was opened in 2017 by Komasa Jozo, which turned its shochu-making craft to whisky. The site overlooks the sea, and the ocean wind that moves through the maturation warehouse lends the whisky a touch of brine. Three pot stills give the house a wide palette of spirit. It matures in bourbon and sherry casks; tours run by reservation.
