Mars Komagatake stands at 798 metres above sea level at the foot of Mt. Komagatake in the Central Alps. Renamed from Mars Shinshu in March 2024, the Hombo Shuzo distillery carries on the design philosophy of Kiichiro Iwai. Admission is free, tastings are paid, and the distillery is open 9:00–16:00 (tours accepted until 15:30).
